About Ella

Ella is a 7 year old, 15 pound, Dachshund looking for a new home. Sadly's Ella's owner passed away. Family members were taking care of her back at now vacant apartment, but she wasn't getting enough attention and was very lonely. They quickly reached out and surrendered her to us. Ella has been staying in a foster home and is doing great. She is a happy dog and very friendly with those she meets. Ella likes children, does great with other dogs and cats. She has never been crated, but is ok being confined in an area. She loves cuddling with her people and likes to ride in the car and go for walks. Ella is working on house training. Not too long ago, she was solidly house trained, but when her previous owner became ill, she started having less access to go outside to potty. She is working on this in her foster home and making progress, although some accidents still happen. Overall, she is a great girl looking for a family for the next chapter of her life. Ella is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.
