About Sweetie Pie

To whom it may concern: Hi! My name is Beth Streng and my mother, Barbara Streng, is moving to an assisted living facility out-of-state in a few weeks and they do not allow pets. My father died almost 3 years ago and 'their' dog Sweetie Pie the Chihuahua, was really 'Daddy's girl' and she really hasn't been the same since. She is a typical Chihuahua. A loud (barking) alarm when the doorbell rings or she sees someone outside. She is also leery of strangers but once she knows you is a love bug. ISweetie Pie Chihuahua (short coat, tan/cream color) Approx 9lb., 8 year old, spayed Female Birthday estimated to be: 12/15/09 Microchipped Up-to-date on All shots and tests Medications: Sentinel (2-10 lb) 1 tablet every month Benedryl 12.5 mg. when itchy from seasonal allergies Food: Hills Science Diet Perfect Weight Rounded 1/4 cup usually at 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Treats: Milk Bone Minis - 1/2 after potty, 1 at bedtime or going in crate for owner to be away from home. Sweetie Pie's Ideal home: Mature to Senior Adult home with No other pets. Perfect for retired person or couple as she is use to someone being home most of the day. Wouldn't put her with toddlers or young children and she would be Very timid. Has gotten along fine with other dogs when she has been to doggy play day and or boarded during vacations. She LOVES to have her ears scratched and her belly rubbed. Loves to lay in the sun coming in the front door on sunny days. She can be cold natured at times and will want to wear a light sweater/tee-shirt type indoors She is Crate Trained and spends the night in her crate covered with a blanket in the front. (Also for when owner is away from home. She is Potty Trained to go outside as well as on Potty Pads. She has never been trained to Walk on a Leash.
