About Lana

Lana is a super sweet, serene and friendly 52-lb female blonde/tan lab mix, who just wants to give love and receive love. Approximately 3 years old, Lana is eager to show what an amazing companion she can be for that just right person or family. She loves being around people and is quick to make friends, seeking approval and attention in her tender, happy way. If Lana can be near you, all the better---she likes to be close, content to stretch out on the floor by your feet or cuddle up on a dog bed with a toy. Docile and submissive with her other foster doggy siblings, she likes the company of other dogs as well. She also enjoys being outside, happy to sun herself or chew on a bone, or simply watch the clouds float by. During her time with her foster family, she's learned to use a doggy door, is now housebroken, and will use a crate, too---but it's not her favorite place to be. A gentle jewel with her big brown almond-shaped eyes and endearing disposition, Lana is ready to work her way into your heart and stay there, forever. Will you let her become a part of your home, family, and heart? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
