About Sully*loves kids!!*

Pal's Place would love to introduce you to Sully, an amazingly sweet, gentle and mild-mannered Saint Bernard mix in need of a loving home. Sully is around 2 years old and weighs 60-65 pounds. We aren't exactly sure what he's mixed with but, while still a larger dog, he's quite a bit smaller than the average Saint. He also has beautiful and unique marble colored eyes and some merle coloring on his head and neck. Both of these traits are most often seen in Australian Shepherds, so that is our best guess as to what his unknown half might be! Sully was tearfully surrendered to a shelter in rural KY. The family had him since he was a pup and he has been very well loved and cared for his entire life. The family lived on a large plot of land and Sully had a habit of wandering onto the neighbor's property. An underground fence was installed, but he would run through it. They then tried to build a kennel for him, but he would climb over the chain link. The neighbor continued to complain about Sully wandering onto his property so the decision was made to rehome him. He absolutely adores children and lived with several in his previous home. We'd really love to find another home for him with children. He's mellow and well behaved in the home and we think he'll fit in easily to most households. Sully also does well with other dogs! He can climb a chain link fence, however, so he would do best in a home with a 6ft or taller privacy fence or with a family that can commit to leash walking him. This sweet fellow is a gem of a dog and will make one lucky family extraordinarily happy!
