About Tucker

Adoption Fee: $275
German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tucker is a super sweet, friendly, affectionate and playful 3-year-old, 75-pound male German Shepherd. This pleasant fellow was rescued from an animal control facility in Kentucky. He's been very well loved and cared for his entire life however his family recently had a baby that was born with severe heart defects. The care of the sick infant has consumed the family leaving little time for Tucker. He's an active younger dog and they felt he was not getting the exercise or attention he deserved so he was regrettably surrendered to an animal control facility. We have a soft spot for Shepherds at Pal's Place and heard this guy's story and knew we had to help. Tucker is now in a foster home in Chicago, but he's anxious to meet his forever family! He loves people and greets everyone with lots of smiles, tail wags, and kisses. He's well behaved in the home and is housebroken and crate trained. He also knows a few basic commands. Tucker loves children, but he is large and can sometimes be exuberant in his greetings. He may be a little overwhelming for very young children but will be a great friend for older kids. He does great with other dogs. Tucker will make any Shepherd lover very happy, come meet him today! 'ۢTucker's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming, and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Tucker from euthanasia. 'ۢ Please email [email protected] for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line.
