Venus is a very beautiful, talkative, sweet, super snugly and extremely skinny, four-pound, four-year-old, golden-eyed female grey tabby cat looking for a loving guardian. Venus was found stray about three years ago when she was little more than a kitten. She found a loving home, but her dad recently passed away. Depressed, Venus ate very little. It's taken some encouragement, but she's begun to eat more and more. She just loves company and loves being loved. She adores people. She's not terribly fond of other felines, or canines. But, she can learn to live with another feline, or gentle canine. She loves to roll in catnip. She loves to be held and will knead you lovingly. She purrs and purrs. She is well-behaved in the home and has perfect litter box habits. She has all her claws but isn't destructive. She is looking for a patient feline-lover, who is home more often than not, willing to encourage her to eat. She is skinny but healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested negative. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. If you're interested meeting and possibly adopting Venus, please contact Sheri at Friends of Petraits Rescue at [email protected] She is currently in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
