About PLEASE SAVE ME!

Meet PETE an adorable healthy, friendly 2 year old, 50 lb Bully Breed Mix who needs a hero. PETE was brought in as a stray to an overcrowded shelter in the south. Shelter volunteers are very fond of PETE and say 'Pete is Super sweet and friendly; cute little Pete, with his knobby knees and short bowlegs hasn't caught anyone's attention yet. ...he has a lower energy level and he's behaving wonderfully. Give this guy a chance.' Unfortunately being sweet, friendly and a volunteer favorite won't save PETE's life. The shelter he is in has exceeded maximum capacity and the longer residents often are the first to be euthanized. When new strays or owner surrenders come in (maybe today, maybe next week) difficult decisions have to be made if a dog such as PETE is not rescued. A BUCKS COUNTY, PA rescue will save PETE, vet and transport him to Bucks County if a suitable adopter or foster steps up and/or if pledges are made to help with boarding, medical and transport fees.
