About Chopper

All dogs are located in foster homes in Southern Arizona. Please contact Carrie to arrange meet and greets. Chopper is an 18 month old neutered Cattle Dog mix, most likely Lab. He has a wonderful demeanor. Chopper is quiet, he is sweet. He is, however, a big baby. If another dog looks at him wrong, he cries and runs to his foster mom. He is submissive and if there is a dog disturbance, he is leaving the scene, he wants nothing to do with a dog quarrel. Chopper is not super active, but he loves to play with other dogs, he is housebroken and is getting better with his house manners. He was a bit of a counter surfer, but he wants to please and he is very smart. Chopper came from the Douglas shelter. There are not a lot of opportunities for dogs to get adopted from Douglas, but the wonderful shelter manager brought Chopper to safety and Chopper is grateful for his new life.
