About Delilah

My name is Delilah, I am looking for a family to spend forever with. I had a rough start in life, but thankfully I was rescued by BRI. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, and I have been successfully treated for heartworm. My foster mom has been trying to help me with leash manners, but I just get sooo excited when I see the leash and I can't wait to go for a walk! She was laughing when I pulled her 13 year old daughter across the yard! I think I need someone very strong to walk me on a leash until I learn better manners, or a fenced yard so I can just run freely would be great. I get along well with my foster fur brother and fur sister. We play really well together; running, jumping, and rolling around on the floor and ripping apart toys until we find the squeaker! I get along with the cat too, and the kids - but they are older and sturdier which is good because I am a bit rambunctious. I am working on manners and I am very food motivated! Speaking of food, so far I've managed to eat several pizzas, a stick of butter, a dozen pierogies and a sandwich. Once I even put the pan in the sink when I was done eating off the counter. My foster mom wants me to teach her kids that trick! All joking aside, I really am a sweet love bug. I just want to be close to my humans, and I prefer to be touching someone at all times! I just want to be close, spending all my time with you, laying next to you on the couch or bed. I follow my people everywhere, especially the room with all the food. I think everyone in my house has tripped over me at some point because I am usually right there, hoping for a rub!
