About Memphis

Meet Memphis! She is the definition of a laid-back, sweet, and silly dog. She's a spayed 3 year old, approximately 55 lb., Australian Shepherd that spent her first years as a yard dog. It takes her a little bit to warm up to someone new, but once she knows you're trustworthy, you'll have the sweetest cuddle bug. She was fed primarily table scraps in her old life, so she's a chubby girl that needs to lose some weight. The table scraps could also be the cause of some itchy skin that we've been able to get under control. The extra weight doesn't keep her from playing with her foster brother and sister nor does it keep her from her favorite activity: tumbling. It is the cutest thing ever! Memphis also enjoys playing fetch, and is getting better at bringing the ball back, and gazing at herself in the mirror. She knows she's a cutie! In addition to being the perfect companion, she is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and rides well in a car. Memphis is currently being fostered in Newnan, GA.
