About Mr. Peabody

Mr Peabody Mr Peabody is an owner surrender due to having too many dogs. Loved dearly by the family, but hard to manage to many dogs in one household. Mr Peabody walked into this persons home one night 1.5 yrs ago, and they looked for the owners with no success, so he stayed with them and their 7 other dogs. He got along fine with all of them, except another un-neutered male when it came time to eat. So, not sure if he was the aggressor or the other dog was. He is in Foster now, and does very well with the 2 chihuahuas and 1 Boston Terrier. He weighs approx 24 lbs. and we are having him neutered on 4/26/18. He will also be getting a teeth cleaning and some teeth pulled at that time. We also have him on antibiotics for his one foot that he either had it snapped on by the other dog in the original home, or he got it caught on a piece of wire fencing according to the original owner. He loves the little boy in the Foster home and does fine on a harness for walks. Car rides are great! He has the short legs and long body of a Lhasa Apso, and he has curly hair like the Poodle & Bichon. The Groomer thought that with the type of hair, that this was the blend of breeds he has in him. Mr Peabody will be ready for his forever home soon, and when his hair grows out he will be wayyyy more attractive. We are guessing this handsome boy to be 5-6 yrs old. His adoption fee is $240.00 If you are interested in Mr. Peabody, PLEASE complete an application.
