About Lupin

Lupin is a sweet gentle soul who is looking for someone who can spend most of their time with him hanging out and doesn't mind if he follows you around. He loves to play with toys and likes you to throw a ball for him but hasn't figured out fetch just yet. He asks nicely to go to the bathroom and walks nicely on the leash with some gentle pulls here and there. He takes a bath well and likes being brushed. He does tolerate the Dyson dog brush attachment. Lupin takes treats nicely without being reminded and he has no issues with being handled. He has no food aggression and doesn't show signs of resource guarding. He really likes stuffed toys. The resident German Shepherd is an alpha dog and gets protective of her people at times but Lupin responded well to her warnings and walks away from her. Lupin loves playing and chasing the resident miniature schnauzer mix in the back yard. Loud noises startled him but things like the vacuum are fine. He doesn't care to be alone or where he cannot see his people. He will sleep in a crate but is very vocal for a while if he can't see you so he would prefer it to be in or near your bed. His foster sister doesn't like him in the big bed so he sleeps in a crate next to the bed. He hasn't meet any tiny humans except for a few minutes but we don't think he will have any problems. He hasn't meet any cats but didn't seem interested in a bunny rabbit or deer. His white coat is silky soft and his eyes just speak to you. He gives the best hugs and likes for you to be touching him if you're sitting next to him. He has no known health problems, is neutered and microchipped.
