So far she has proven to be an excellent house guest. Darla does well with dogs and seems to be indifferent to cats. Darla is crate trained and rides well in a car. She has also demonstrated excellent leash manners. She has been on many exploring adventures since arriving in Virginia and been an excellent companion at each stop. Darla has not shown any signs of resource guarding. Darla is heartworm positive and being treated by Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue. If she is adopted before treatment is completed, SSR will pay for the remaining heartworm treatment.
