About Thelma

Welcome Thelma. She is a 2-year-old Rat Terrier. She weighs about 12 pounds and she is a doll. She was in a home with a few other Rat Terriers when one of the owners died. They couldn't care for the dogs so all were going to be taken to ACS the local high kill pound in San Antonio. We all know owner surrenders get no time at all if there is a space issue. These people called on CCPAL to help out. All the Rat Terriers are safe with CCPAL and looking for forever homes. There were three puppies that were left unattended in the home for 3 weeks before someone found them. This is very sad for them but their new chapter is about to begin. All are alive and being loved waiting for their new homes. We know there are some Rat Terrier and scruffy lovers out there looking for a great dog. She is sweet and gentle and not a huge shedding dog. She loves to sit on your lap and good with dogs her size. She is a little intimidated by the bigger dogs. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or on the East or the West Coast. Her adoption fee is 185 and transport is 185.
