Copper is shy at first but once he gets to know where he is he's fine. Loves to play, go for walks and rides in the car, although on long trips he tends to get sick a little bit. I believe he has been traumatized my my oldest Son which is how I believe he got the eye injury, but I don't have confirmation of that. He gets scared of my Son and tries to hide. I am moving and cannot take him with me. He needs a loving home as soon as possible. He doesn't like people who are loud, like my oldest Son, 19 years old. He has never bit anyone, he just tries to get away. I am not sure how well he gets along with cats, as we have never had any in our home. He did live with a Yorkie for a long time here as well as my Daughters two German Shepherds and was fine with all of them. He loved the Yorkie and would play gently with him. He got along great with the older German Shepherd, but the 1 year old Shepherd was very aggressive and would tend to run over Copper a lot, so again Copper would try and get away from that dog. I also don't know if he is good with small children as he hasn't been around them much. He isn't very hyper at all except when he gets excited about his food. He will run around the living room and get his toys. He listens when he is told to get down and doesn't jump on people that often except when I come home from work and he is excited for dinner. Copper's chew muscles didn't develop properly. It doesn't cause any problems and his vet just diagnosed this in February. He had a pretty severe eye injury last month but after a lot of medication and testing he is clear of future problems at this point from the injury. I am moving in 10 days and need to try and have him placed in a rescue asap. He is in need of his yearly vaccines.
