About Haynes

Super Urgent! Haynes needs a foster or adopter so his life will be spared. He is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Haynes is a playful guy. He loves fetch and rope toys. He had so much fun playing and chewing on the toys. Playing tug is his game but he doesn't pull hard. He just likes to tug. He likes treats and he jumps up to get your attention. Haynes likes other dogs and is helps with playgroup and doing leash tests with some of the shelter's shyer dogs. He likes some running and chase with light physical contact. He had a good cat test. He needs some training-he can be jumpy and a tad mouthy but is easily redirected. He wants to learn and needs some direction. Haynes needs a home with a family willing to put some time and training into him. It is recommended that he not be in a home with young children at this time given his jumpiness and size. Please save his life before it's too late. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport.
