About Diogi

Looking for a good home for Diogi. He wandered into my yard over a month ago and has become friendly toward me and a best friend to my dog. Not exactly sure of his age, history, or vet history. He appears to be a pure bred pit, but unsure of this. Posted in neighborhood and no one claimed him. Will not take him to pound as they are not pit friendly in my county. I named him Diogi. He plays with my dog in the yard all day and then at night he sleeps outside in the kennel that I made for him, while my dog sleeps inside at night. He appears to love children as he loves running and playing with my 11 y.o. nephew who comes to visit. Will wardn if someone comes into the yard, but is not aggressive toward them. Gets along well with my horses. He is very sweet. Knows sit command and is working on lay down. He is very smart and very attentive during training as he looks me straight in my eyes during training. Not sure if he's housebroken as he does not appear to like coming indoors and I have not had time to work with him on that. The reason I am looking for a new home is because I cannot afford 2 dogs. He eats VERY well. He needs a big yard to run around in and needs someone who will have time to continue his training. He is sweet, mild mannered, loves belly rubs and leans into you when being petted - loves affection.
