About Arabella

Let me introduce you to an amazing little girl, Arabella. Arabella is a blind and deaf double Merle that is 4.5 month old ball of spunk. Now don't read this and go 'awe poor thing' because she doesn't know any different this is normal to her and she lives her life to the fullest and honestly most of the time you forget she can not see or hear. Arabella had a rough start being found on the side of the road and once rescued battled Parvovirus and won. All she needed was someone to give her a chance and she would fight for the rest. Arabella adapts quickly to her surroundings and her nose acts as her eyes, which is just awe inspiring to watch. She is smart as a whip and has already learned to sit, about 50% of time successful on her 'come' touch command, we are working on down and Shake. She does fairly well on a leash but sometimes she just stops to take in all the new smells. With training she now navigates the stairs to go outside like a pro. We are still working on potty training and scent training. She is very treat motivated so with time and patience she can learn anything. Arabella loves to play with dogs and even cats if playful and would do best in a home with a fur sibling, because of this we are making it a requirement for her to have another dog in the home. So if you are looking for a spunky, sweet, funny, cuddly, inspiring best friend she's the girl for you. Don't let her 'disabilities' intimidate you because this girl has all the ABILITY she needs to live a long happy life and love her family unconditionally.
