About Thor

English/mountain mastiff mix. Loves his family, takes some time to warm up to new people but once he gets to know them he wants to lick their face and lay on their lap. Currently in a home with children under 3yo HOWEVER he doesn't know his size. He will knock them down as he's running past but otherwise pays them little mind. Needs a home with older children. Good watch dog. He loves to be outside for hours laying on the porch looking around but is strictly an inside dog. He gets bursts of energy but is otherwise pretty lazy. He loves to play fetch. He will get the zoomies inside and run from room to room. Thor is a gentle treat taker. Not good with cats. Needs work on a leash but shows potential with the gentle leader that we've been using. Needs someone familiar with the breed because he is stubborn. Needs a fenced in yard. Grew up in a house with female dogs. He is a dominant so a male dog companion wouldn't be a good fit. Needs a companion his size, he plays rough. NOT good with small dogs, he views them like he does cats. Great family dog, just needs some training.
