AKC-registered purebred Alaskan Malamute. Female, 8.5 years old, 70 lbs. We are looking to rehome her after she became aggressive toward our toddler. We purchased Lucy as a puppy from her original breeder in Knik, Alaska. She is spayed, microchipped, licensed with the Municipality of Anchorage, and current on all exams and vaccinations. Lucy would need to be in a home with adults only or older, respectful children. She has lived with a shih-tzu all her life and shares a yard with a yellow lab, but she has some alpha traits that would need to be taken into consideration if being rehomed with existing pets. She's never had an issue with dogs aside from some minor scuffles, but cats or smaller animals could be problematic. She would be a great dog for the right situation. Her exercise needs are fairly minimal -- she loves walks, to play ball, etc., but doesn't go crazy if she doesn't get it. She almost never barks. Pleasantly social but not 'needy.' She's not weird around people she doesn't know -- greets them and then goes back to doing her thing.
