This dog was adopted by my roommate after she was thrown over the fence as a puppy. Lil bit has been a companion dog for my roommate who has Multiple Sclerosis and Type 1 Diabetes. Currently my roommate is being moved to assisted living where dogs are not allowed. She is loving and always wants to be petted. She has lived with two other dogs and a cat. She is good with kids but a little slow to warm up to them at first. She backs off and runs away if she does not want them to touch her. She has never been aggressive towards other animals except to bark and alert her master that someone or something is near her territory. Again she does not growl; just barks and backs off. She loves playing with other dogs in the back yard. She has had opportunities to run away and does not run away. She is a mix of english setter and dalmation probably. We had her spayed and she is current on her rabies and other vaccinations. She is very smart and goes from window to window 'securing the perimeter' or looking for squirrels outside. She does have separation anxiety if left alone without any other dogs. It is suggested that she be adopted to a home with at least one other dog. She knows sit, and lay down and come. She follows instructions very well like she wants to please you. Please text me (better than calling) and I will be able to help. She comes with 9 months worth of oral flea and heart worm medication.
