Misty is about 9 months old and her breed is a mystery. Our best guess is dachshund mixed with a few other things. Misty was an owner surrender and came from the Navajo reservation in Arizona. She weighs about 25 pounds. Misty is good with dogs, kids, and all people she's met so far. We don't know about cats. She is a sweetheart and loves her soft dog bed. Misty is housebroken and sleeps in a crate all night. Even though she is still a puppy, she isn't high energy. She loves to play and go on walks but if you are looking for a jogging buddy or long distance hiker, Misty probably isn't your girl. Those legs are just too short! This sweet girl actually had a broken leg at some point that healed on its own before she came into rescue. It doesn't seem to bother her, but she is kind of bow legged as a result. We think it gives her a cute bounce to her walk. Misty is spayed and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $95. She is currently being fostered by Blackhat Humane Society in Cortez, CO and limited transportation may be available.
