Meet Sammy! Male 3 months old Doxie Mix 12 lbs Meet Sammy! I am a super affectionate, interactive puppy who loves to play! I'm a super soft and sweet puppy from Tennessee that came to Illinois with my brother, dad and two older brothers. I am still a very shy when I meet new people, it just takes me a bit of time to check you out and warm up to you, but once we are friends you will treasure my snuggles and kisses!! I am crate trained, sleep thru the night and am progressing very well on my potty training! I am a puppy and there are times when I am playing and I need to be reminded to go potty outside. I love playing with my foster brother and believe I would thrive in a home that has an older dog to teach me! I'm curious about the cats, but they don't like to play so I don't bother with them. I love playing with all my toys and playing fetch is my favorite game. Tug of war is my next favorite, especially when my brother, foster brother and I all tugging on the toy! I love to be cuddled and snuggled with. I love having a bath and am appreciative of warm blankets after! I am puppy that is aware of his surrounds and I will let you know if someone is around the house or something is amiss. I am very protective of my home and family. If you think I could be your fur ever puppy, please come meet me! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
