About Clifford

Clifford (the big red dog) is a rare Tosa Inu, or Japanese Mastiff. Weighing in at a thin 91 lbs.,this guy is lover and not at all a fighter. He did well on his temperament assessments and was in the 'gentle' play group with other dogs at the shelter. Clifford was found as a stray with his brother, but his brother was adopted from the shelter without him, so Clifford came to A Passion for Paws to find his forever home. He would do well in a semi-active home where he can get regular walks and would probably be OK with respectful children ages 14 and up. He is still getting used to some things like baths and getting into cars, but he walks very nicely on a leash and is very happy to be right by your side.
