About Cooke

Sweet Cookie is approx a year old and weighs about 50lbs. She is a very timid girl so needs a gentle, experienced home to help build her confidence. Another playful, confident dog in the home is a must, too. She is learning to walk on a leash but still gets scared with unexpected, sudden sounds. Although she is a shy girl, she warms up quickly to new folks and then wants to crawl in your lap for cuddles and reassurance that all is well with the world. She is also a quirky girl... she will take clothing, bathroom rugs and shoes from where they belong... and hide them in other parts of the house! She doesn't chew anything up... she just likes to hide them. She is learning that it's ok to hide her own toys, but she should leave the rugs where they belong. In the short time we've had Cookie in our rescue, she has gained confidence quickly so in no time, this darling will be a wonderful, balanced girl!
