About Mercy

Now that my cute face has your attention, let me introduce myself! My name is Mercy. I am approximately 4 years old and I am so excited that the sun has reappeared! I am an excellent leash walker, which makes me ready to stroll your neighborhood. I'm also happy to chill in your yard -- the sun highlights hints of red in my handsome (and freshly groomed!) cream colored coat. At a petite 10.5 pounds I make an ideal travel companion, let's see the world - but out the window, please - lots of new people coming up to me can make me nervous. Once I've warmed up to someone I show my love by kissing them and asking for belly rubs. I can be excitable and play with toys, but I'm also able to rest calmly on my bed or in my crate. I enjoy meeting other dogs my size, but big dogs can be overwhelming if they get in my face. I've not lived with cats, but if you have a feline friend who is familiar with dogs we can probably get along! Because it can take me time to warm up to new people, and in my excited play I can be mouthy, a home with older, or no kids would probably be best. I'm no turtle, but slow and steady wins the race to my heart! Mercy is neutered, house trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and flea/tick preventative.
