About Mitch

Please do not email until you have submitted an application. We are small and just don't have time to reply to questions that are answered here or 'is this dog available'. If you see any of our listing the dog in them is available. We expect a lot of interest in Mitch since he's young and adorable. Mitch is about a year old. He may be a bit younger. His teeth are still puppy sharp and he's a heavy chewer. He's getting his one year teeth now. He is hard on toys and will chew anything he can if you don't keep in in tough toys. He's almost housetrained. He needs a person or family with time to work on his training, both house and behaviors. He's very smart and learns quickly. His foster mom has taught him basic commands and leash manors. He still needs training and will pull if he doesn't have a no pull harness. Mitch weighs about 20 pounds and will probably gain a few more pounds but we don't think he'll get any taller. Mitch loves everyone he meets. He's good with dog savvy kids and all adults. He is a puppy so keep that in mind. Boston's can be destructive even as adults if they are bored and Mitch has chewed up more than a few things in his foster mom's house. Mitch loves apples and carrots and pretty much any treat. He craves attention but doesn't have separation anxiety and isn't a velcro dog. Mitch needs a fenced yard and a doggy sibling to be happy. We will not consider homes without other dogs or fences. This is not true of all of our dogs but Mitch really needs a sibling and room to run.
