:::: COURTESY POST :::: Our volunteer team was searching the hot Phoenix streets for a stolen dog (who has been recovered!) and in the mean time came across this boy who we call Clark. He was limping from heat exhaustion and absolutely sad and broken. He was hesitant to let us get near but we sat down with patience and he came to us. We gave him several bowls of water and some food. He gave kisses of appreciation to everyone. He was very mellow. Unfortunate as we were in the midst of a field search, we had to take him to a shelter. He planted himself and would not walk in.. he knew it was no resort. Now he's even more sad and super scared. We'd like to find a nice home for him. If you might like to meet 'Clark,' please send a note and we'll help connect. He will go home with his adopter with neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. We want a very nice home for him, a grassy yard would be super, and people who will love him and be kind and gentle to him so he'll feel right at home.
