���Kelly Female 9 Months Old Fawn and White Dog Friendly Crate Trained Flashy Fawn Female Fostered in Portland, OR Hi I'm Kelly! I tend to be a bit shy, but my foster family is helping me move past my fears. I may still cringe a bit when there are loud noises or if you move too fast, but if you're calm and let me come to you, I will feel much more comfortable. I was living on the streets for a while and when WHBR found me I was in pretty bad shape. I was malnourished, had mange from stress and poor diet, and had multiple ticks. I haven't been left out of my crate unattended because my skin is extremely thin and opens easily during play. I am much more comfortable in my crate overnight. Just tell me, 'crate-up', and I enter willingly and snuggle up on my bed. When I'm out of my crate I want to follow my people around and lay as close to them as possible. I'm usually not left alone more than a few hours. A few times, though, I've been left in my crate over eight hours and I've always been happy and content when my people come home. I love to run in the backyard and explore. I also enjoy running through the house and playing tug-of-war with my foster brother. I really like to ride in the car and stay in the area you put me in, back seat or rear of the SUV. I'm even more comfortable if you put my bed in the car. I will go outside on command but am also relearning my house manners. Having been a stray and so young mom thinks I may not have had someone help me learn before, so she says we are working on the basics. We are working on my jumping up on people. I don't do it much but I do get very excited when I'm let out of my crate and head outside. So far, I've been great with everyone I've met but since I haven't met cats I don't know how I'll react. Large dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs-they're all awesome! I really like grain free treats and I pretend to like veggies but really I only chew on them a bit then spit them out. My foster mom took me to the office and everyone said I was amazing. I thought the meetings were boring and I think I snored through most of them, but it was fun to hang out with so many nice people all day. I think I could get use to going to work.
