About Layla

FOSTER LOCATION: Emmett, ID Layla is a 16 month old Collie/Shepherd mix who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when her owners could no longer care for her. She is medium size at about 42 lbs and definitely has some herding breed in her as she is whip smart, eager to please and always ready to 'work'. Layla can be a little bit shy when she meets new people but once she knows you she is a loving and loyal companion. While she can be shy she is very curious about people and the world in general she would thrive by getting lots of socialization opportunities and taking a puppy class would be awesome for her. She is house-trained, runs great next to a bike, knows some basic commands, and how to use a doggie door. She can be trusted to be alone in the house and not disturb things. She is great with kids and babies. She is medium to high energy so she'll need daily walks or runs. She is slightly vocal. She is food and ball motivated and eager to please her people. She is fine with other dogs and would probably do best in a home with a confident, fun loving dog already in her home. No clue on cats but our best is she would not be good with them.
