About Chance

Say hello to Chance - our resident Senior at this point! This guy is one of the most snuggable (is that a word?) dogs we've ever had in our program - he's a total LOVE!!. Chance was found wandering off a local Interstate Highway - emaciated and with flea dermatitis so bad that his skin was raw and red. Allegedly he'd been wandering around there for at least a month. We got him, took him, and placed him with one of our awesome fosters where he has thrived! Chance's age is approximately 10 years old. He weighs about 15 pounds and could stand to put on a few more! His most favorite thing is to sit in a lap and snuggle endlessly! Chance is great with all people, dogs, and pays little attention to cats. He will growl at another dog who may want to get attention from HIS foster Mom or check out his food bowl - but is actually ok with both. We call him our grumpy old man - all noise and nothing comes of it hahaha!! Another favorite thing for him is car rides!! He will beg to get in the car and makes the perfect co-pilot! Chance is housebroken and sleeps in his foster parents' bed along with the resident dogs. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative, and is up to date with his vaccinations. He even just last week had a dental exam/extractions!! His adoption fee is $150. Chance will do best in a quieter household so only older children (14 and up) will be considered for his forever home.
