About Leona

Meet Leona Currently 14 weeks Lab/Shepherd/Husky mix Currently 11 lbs. Leona is really shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she is sweet as honey, and it's inevitable that you'll fall in love. She LOVES to cuddle. And she LOVES napping. Leona's favorite spot is right in your lap. She's a calm, cuddly, loving puppy, who could spend all day getting her ears rubbed. She's still got some things to learn about potty training, but shes definitely learning! And her beautiful eyes light up whenever you praise her for doing as she should. She loves to be loved. Leona currently lives with a 4 year old and they are the best of friends. Leona is so gentle and loving that she'd be wonderful for any family. She rarely nibbles and hardly ever chews on anything other than her toys and the 4 year old's pigtails. Leona is the absolute perfect pup. If you've got the time and love for a puppy like her, come out and meet her. She deserves the best furever home. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
