About Sophie

Sophie is an amazing dog, and we love her very much. The past couple of weeks she has become aggressive with her brother Buster (shown in pic). They have been buddies for almost a year but for some reason something has changed and they have had a few bad fights, where blood has been drawn, usually from Buster. It's seems like she thinks she is protecting me because it's always when I'm around and Buster starts to come to me. She has NOT been aggressive with us, my smaller dog (yorkie) or with our kids. We are taking her to her Vet on Friday to see if he can help us figure out how to fix the aggressiveness, but It may be something that cannot be changed. (Buster was just neutered and I read that could be some of the problem) Ideally if we do have to go this route, we would want her to go to someone that has experience with Malamutes or to a Malamute rescue. She has been an awesome, loyal, smart and affectionate dog. This is truly breaking my heart.
