About African Grey

Say 'Hi' to Ozzie! She is a sweet 12 year old female African Grey. She plucked for years with her previous owners who could not take her due to moving. She is very sweet and loves to be petted, and has a small vocabulary. Ozzie appears to be healthy and would love to have a new home. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $400
