Ozzie is a fun, sweet and friendly, nine-year-old, active and playful, nine-year-old, 80-pound, male German Short Haired Pointer with a natural tail looking for a loving guardian. Ozzie is an energetic boy who enjoys walks and playing ball. He's not an apartment dog because he loves the outdoors and would really enjoy a fenced in yard. He also will bark when left alone. He's not fun to walk in congested areas as he is reactive to other dogs while on leash. Although off-leash, he is fabulous with other dogs and absolutely loves dog parks and dog beach. Ozzie has lived in the same home since he was an eight-week-old puppy. Sadly, his family purchased a new home without a fenced yard, and with a toddler and a baby, he's become too difficult for his family to care for him. Although Ozzie is fine with people of all ages, he is somewhat of a bulldozer when it comes to little children and knocks over those that are not steady on their feet. So, he's looking for a home with adults and teens. He is very well-behaved in the home. If he gets enough time on walks and in the yard, he'll just hang out on his dog bed and gnaw on his bones. Ozzie's adoption fee of $100 includes everything you need to take care of him. He is a healthy senior; neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact [email protected] He is currently being fostered in the Chicago suburb of Downers Grove.
