About Chief

This big ol' mister is Chief! He is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. We're looking for an experienced owner for this amazingly awesome fellow - preferably someone who understands larger breeds. We haven't known Chief very long, but here is all we've learned... Chief is not a super confident boy. He can be fearful and will need an owner to teach him that new things aren't necessarily bad. However, Chief seems to thrive when it is nice and quiet and he trusts you. He has no idea that he is a very large boy and he thinks that your lap is the place he is supposed to be! Chief is pretty much a gentle giant. He has loved going for walks! We're starting to see him get more excited each time. If you are wanting to improve your walking pace, we are pretty positive that Chief and his huge strides will help! Chief will need a home without kiddos. Ideally, anyone in the home should be about teenagers and older. Younger kiddos make him anxious. We are still checking out his animal interactions. Chief has shown to be a very, very good boy! If you are partial to big dogs who think they are little dogs, you've gotta come meet him. We will update when we have new information!
