Myles is a 5 year old, 17 lb bundle of Velcro love!! He appears to be a wire hair Dachshund/Cairn Terrier mix who found himself at Franklin County Shelter. The shelter life was very scary for him and brought out his defensive side. Thus, he ended up in our rescue. He is now neutered and has all vetting done. Myles is housebroken and crates well although doesn't need to be crated. He does great with other dogs but would benefit from slow introductions to his new siblings. He is fine with cats but if they run, he might chase if he is feeling frisky! Myles does have that 100 lb. Terrier attitude! That being said, he would do best in a home with only children over 10 yrs old. Myles follows his person everywhere and will lay at your feet when you stop. He loves to snuggle on the couch and will prefer to sleep in bed with you. I don't think Myles has had much exposure to toys and is just learning how fun they can be! He loves walks and we are working on leash manners but he isn't too bad about it and doing better each day. Myles loves treats and prefers the chewy ones! Myles is a wonderful dog and is looking for his forever person and home! He is being fostered in Lancaster, OH. Please go to our website to fill out an adoption application to give Myles his forever home! www.sophiasgracefoundation.org
