About Kitty

Kitty is a 5 year old very loving stumpy tailed cattle dog. She is very true to her breed, very smart, high energy, and very loyal to owner. She runs on the smaller side, about 35-40 lbs. She is NOT good with strangers and takes a good amount of time to get comfortable with new people and other dogs. She will eat your cat, bird or other small pet if you have one. She is great with MY kids, but like I said, other people, including children she takes time warming up to... and prefers people with a calm demeanor. She gets stressed in public and should be taken into places that have a lot of people with a muzzle to avoid nipping (she will try and herd the crowds). She will fetch, spin, sit, place and stay as well as walk on a leash. Her training has been neglected over the last few years so these need some brushing up. We are moving and feel that 2 dogs is too much for the place we are moving too, plus I do not have time to properly train and care for her the way she needs. I recommend an owner who is familiar with this breed and wants a dog for an active lifestyle.
