Please read! Before you complete an application, please read our policies and procedures, FAQ's and the crating page at www.breederadoptions.org. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be leash and house trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground until they arrive at our main facility after spending years on wire. However, they will learn with time, love, patience, and most of all commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. Hi! My name is Romeo and I am a darling little 5 year old, 5.1 pound purebred Maltese boy. My former owner, who passed away, purchased me from a very expensive Maltese breeder along with another female Maltese so I have been used for breeding my entire 5 years of life to supplement her social security income. No one wanted me when my owner passed so Breeder Release stepped up to rescue me. I have lived in a home but not had much love, attention, walks or good food. I am a bit timid but learning that lap time and treats are the best. I am very sweet and submissive and have no aggression issues; my face will melt your heart. I am calm and will make someone a great companion dog. I need a stay at home parent and no small kids in my home, please. Grandkids that visit are great. I love to go for walks so I would make a great walking companion and I ride great in the car. My foster mom says I am just stunning and am ready to have my very own humans to love; I am very loyal and won't leave your side. I, Romeo, am looking for my Juliet!!!! If you have been waiting for an adorable, Maltese boy, please ask for me on your application. Love, Romeo 040618-01
