About Eli & Oliver

Hello everyone! We are Eli (Red) and Oliver (Blond). We are 7 year old neutered male Black Mouth Curs. We are looking for a new home. We know several commands and are eager to please and learn more. We can be lazy and love to hang out with our owners, but we do need exercise and a tall fence. Our owners are heart broken to be letting us go. We have recently moved and our family has expanded making it difficult to provide us the attention and care we need and deserve. We are great together! Eli has some dominance issues, but Oliver keeps him in check. They are extremely smart, loyal, and protective. I have had the boys since they were pups, they were my original fur babies. Since the alien children arrived, Eli has struggled adjusting to them, however, has never had an issue with other kids in the past. Eli does take some time to warm up to some men. They need some refresher training (obedience mainly). We had a home for them and they backed out at the last minute (no fault of the boys), so we are in an urgent situation. I have contacted local rescues, but they won't take surrenders. I have been in touch with a local shelter, but they have indicated because of their age (you would never know they are considered 'adult'), they would be difficult to get adopted out and they may not get a happy ending. Crushing to hear. I don't want to sign those papers, but we are desperate! I have had these guyThese boys deserve a family or someone that will give them the love and attention they deserve. Regretfully, that isn't me anymore.
