About Lily

Lily is an active fun dog who needs a single person or couple who know Border Collies and really want to work with her. She response well to training and learns very fast. She knows all her basic manners and more. She is also learning agility training and can jump, go through and over obstacles. She is an indoor and out door dog and sleeps in her crate at night. She is fully potty trained. She loves to go on walks, play Frisbee and chase the ball. Lily also has some anxiety and is food aggressive. We have a chihuahua/Terrier and 3 cats and feed them separate. When there is not food involved she is good and playful with our other pets. Lily is afraid of gun shots, thunder and fireworks, so needs a shelter, garage or be indoors when these things are present. Lily has bitten me, my small dog and most recently my son. She bit me when I was putting a new harness on her that she didn't want, she bit the chihuaterrier during a meal time and bit my son when he was taking an ice cream wrapper away from her. She nips hard and recently broke the skin on my son's hand, but no stitches needed - just a puncture. I believe it was a warning. She needs a person who knows Border Collies and is patient. I would keep her in a heart beat if it were just my husband and I, but we have 2 sons to worry about. Lily would be an excellent pet for a single person or couple. NO kids and no pets would be best. Although, she is great with our small dog and cats when food is not involved. We have to find a new home for her soon. I really don't want to bring her to a shelter. Someone please help!
