About Vanna

This pretty little girl is Vanna, a 5-7 year old Chihuahua who weighs only 5 pounds. She came to us with a number of other dogs from a hoarding situation. She is heartworm negative, microchipped and housebroken. Vanna is good with other dogs, and does fine with cats too. Due to her small size, she would not be suitable in a home with small children. Vanna loves for her foster mom to groom her. She will lie on her lap as long as she wants to keep brushing her. She has really come a long way in the short time we've had her. She was not used to receiving a lot of attention, but is learning that it's a wonderful thing. Because she can be skittish, we'd prefer her to have a fenced yard. Vanna is a very playful little girl. She is learning to walk on a leash, which is something new to her. She is going to be a wonderful addition to a special family who will understand that she is going to need time to come to them at her pace. She will take a bit to warm up to new people, but once she does you will have a wonderful family member.
