Active but not hyper, he has recovered 90 % from a back issue (common to Dachshunds) but has not yet re-gained full bladder control. With 2 other dogs we do not have time or money to accomodate this new development! Protective when first meeting strangers, but terrific w. people once he's acquainted. Likes kids.
