My Story PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITHOUT FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION. ***Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com*** IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE AN APPLICATION, WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL. Payton, Havanese mix 6.80 lbs 4 months old Poor sweet adorable Payton, look at that precious face. How does an angel like this end up with her story. Payton had no human contact before she entered the kill shelter in Korea as a baby, yes no human contact so the wonderful Korean rescue got her out of the kill shelter to save her life & start it. In her foster home in Korea Payton was slow to warm up to the foster family with time she slowly learnt to trust humans but did great with her other foster dog friends & loved to go sleep in her own bed, this was probably the first time she ever experienced her own bed. Payton is now a US citizen & is in a foster home with Trinity & looking forward to being loved in her new home. We got her spayed by laser by our amazing vet, she is chipped, heart worm negative, dewormed, up to date on her shots. Payton is slow to warm up to you so you have to make her feel comfortable but once you do she will be by your side as she loves to be with with people but is super sweet & a love. Its mandatory for her to have other playful doggy friends in the home as well, she enjoys the company of other dogs. She needs a fully fenced backyard when outside playing with her rescue friends. We also think she would love to have her very own beautiful brand new bed just for her. She would be fine with older children that are respectful to animals, she does fine with cats & a little shy at first but once she warms up to you she is good & will be your best friend. We will only be accepting applications who meet all of the requirements for Payton. Payton is currently in a foster home & it's time for this little lady to find her new forever home & can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home, someone who will work with her on potty training & training like all of her doggy friends & love & cherish her & someone present in the home during the day. All of our rescues need work. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Payton & have read her listing fully to the end & going through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Payton has an adoption fee of $680. Like most dogs in our rescue, Payton will need work on potty training. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation
