About Cassie

Cassie is available for foster or foster-to-adopt, and will be available for adoption once she has her heartworm treatment recheck after 4/13. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Cassie is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County). Cassie is a sweet, slightly timid and laid-back heeler x hound mix of about 4 years. Her energy level may increase a bit when she is down to a healthy weight. She currently weighs 31 lbs and as you can see, could stand to shed some! She has great recall and knows how to sit. She is very cuddly and loves belly rubs. She walks nicely on a leash. She rides nicely in a car, is housebroken and knows how to use a dog door. She will shake during loud thunder and is not a fan of loud noises. She will be off crate rest after her recheck in mid-April. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives and microchipped.
