About Slinger

Urgent! Slinger needs a foster or adopter so his life will be spared. He is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Slinger is such a sweetheart of a dog! The moment the leash was on and the cage door opened, he relaxed. Outside he was playful, loved chasing the ball around and would drop it for the volunteers to throw it again. He sat on command for treats and allowed for handling all over. However, at first he would duck his head away from the volunteers' hands, but by the end he was nosing their hands to keep petting him. Please save his life before it's too late. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport.
