About Sasha

Urgent! Beautiful Sasha needs a foster or adopter so her life will be spared. She is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Sasha has a beautiful coat and one brown & one blue eye. She has been at the shelter since March 23, 2018, and is not sure why she is there. Her owner surrendered her because was unable to care for her any more. According to the owner she has lived with children, is fearful of new men and may do food guarding. She likes squeaky toys and ropes, and knows the paw, sit, and jump commands. She is crate & house trained and has spent up to 9 hours alone. She has not lived with other pets. She walked well on a leash from the kennel to the yard. In the yard, she spent time looking, sniffing and owner searching, thinking her family is out there. Sasha showed she's got a lot of spirit and is missing the love and routine of a family. Please save her life before it's too late. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport.
