About Atticus

Atticus is a healthy 2-year-old male. 35-40 lbs. He has the heart of a comfort dog. He rarely barks, only with good reason, he does not lick, or beg and knows to ask permission. Border Collies are incredibly smart and need structured interaction. When I got him I was semi-retired he went through obedience training with the hope of being a comfort dog which he is now at the right age to train. He loves to be petted but is not demanding. He knows basic commands, sits, stays, stops, front (come) and find it (with a piece of cheese or sausage). My business has grown and requires too much of my time. Atticus needs a 'job' an active owner (walker, runner, biker a family with children or another dog) who enjoy throwing balls, Frisbees and exercising him. As a responsible owner, and caring for him, he needs more than I can give him and want him to find the right forever home, he's a great dog, very easy to care for.
