About Hoodle

Hoodle is just a year old and cute as can be. He loves playing with children and dogs too. He is house trained and affectionate. Unfortunately he tested positive for heart worms and his owners cannot afford the treatment. They asked for him to be put down but the veterinarian said absolutely not and put him in the shelter with the hope of a rescue stepping forward. We are that rescue! We are currently treating him for heartworm which has a young dog is an excellent prognosis. He tested negative and then positive and so it is very low antigens which makes it much easier to treat. We have him ready for adoption immediately so long as the new family can keep him calm for a period of four weeks, they are able to take him home. That would require no hiking, jumping or running. Once the time is up, he can resume all normal activity and live a long healthy life. He is under the care of our Vet located in Clark New Jersey. He is a designer dog which was purchased for a great deal of money. Had his original family just put him on a nine dollar a month heartworm preventative this would not have happened! Hoodle is from the south where this disease is prevalent. It's just fortunate we grabbed him early and started treatment. We have a video that will melt your heart! Everyone loves him!
