About Miley

Adoption Fee: $175
Rat Terrier
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

When 6-year-old Miley first came into rescue, she had to endure heartworm treatment, complete with painful shots and long weeks of restricted activity. But the patient's patience has paid off. Just take a look at Miley now! Spunky, beautiful, and petite at only 12 lbs., this Rat Terrier is ready and rarin' to find her forever home. Miley gets along well with her canine foster brother as well as the many other dogs she has met outside of her foster home. She also does very well with her feline foster siblings, even allowing them to climb on her and literally sleep on top of her at night. Miley is fully house-trained and quiet and well-behaved in a crate. In fact, she's fairly quiet overall, barking only if she sees squirrels in the backyard or hears someone ring the doorbell. She also walks very nicely on a leash, and she's learning basic commands like sit and stay. She is even an excellent travel buddy, having made a nine-hour trip to Virginia during which she rode quietly and settled right into the hotel room with her foster mom. While Miley likes having her older brother to play with, she's not so energetic that she wouldn't be perfectly content with toys to play with and occasional walks. At bedtime, her favorite place will be under the covers in the bed, curled up next to you. Miley says she has waited long enough to snuggle with you, so hurry over to her online photo album at http://imageevent.com/newrattitude/miley , and then reward her patience by giving this baby the home she deserves. ------------------------------------------------------ IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING MILEY, please go to new Rattitude's website at http://www.NewRattitude.org/adopt.htm, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.
